When it came to marketing my Southern California Homes site, my boss earlier had put me in charge of California Homes and so I made a sub domain for the southern!
This is important because since CaliforniaHomesForSale.com already was ranking in google, I could make a subdomain that was going to rank faster than buying a totally new domain, and cheaper too!
To do this you simply go into your cpanel of your host and add a sub domain and BAM!
http://southern.californiahomesforsale.com
This is nice because then the sub pages that I add like:
Orange County Homes
Los Angeles Homes
Carlsbad Homes
Temecula Homes for Sale
& they automatically will get more traffic just being connected to CaliforniaHomesForSale.com
